Tim Amundson wants everyone to be aware of a certain creek. It is an creek that runs through the Kansas City metro area. It is a creek that nearly every resident has driven over in an automobile. It is a creek with a vast history, older than the urban landscape it runs through. It has an ecology that is resilient of and constantly affected by humans. It is Turkey Creek. It runs beneath Interstate 35, winding back, forth and under one of the main highway arterites of the city. Yet, many people have never heard of it or claim to have never seen it (though they probably have). Tim has been studying the creek and its surroundings for years and wants to educate people about this hidden landscape. More information on the Turkey Creek Institute for Phenomenal Awareness can be found here, on Tim's Tumblr site.
